Hello Jessie. My name is Lydia, and I am a student from Park Tudor School, and am in sixth grade. We learned a bit about the Holocaust and WWII earlier this year while reading The Diary of Anne Frank, in English class. This is one of my favorite topics to learn about, though it was a dark time in history. Something about it just makes me want to know more about what happened. We are learning a bit about Greece and Rome while studying the Rennaissance in History class, and in fifth grade, I learned about them too. However, my memory is not very good with loads of information, so I do not remember much. What are you currently learning at your school? Nice to meet you!

Welcome aboard Lydia! We are really looking forward to working with Park Tudor. We are studying 20th Century History this year and the students in China are really amazing! I taught for 15 years in the U.S. and my first year here in China has been great! I hope that we can arrange a trip in the future for your school to visit here and for our students to visit the U.S.

Hi Lydia, I'm really happy that we both have same interests in WWII. WWII indeed was a dark time for all nations. However, WWII had its own special attraction. I'm really interested about how those war happened and the political conflicts among those countries. Which part of the WWII you like the most? For example the war of Eastern Europe, the war of Pacific ocean or the war of Africa? I would prefer the war between Nazi and Soviet Union.
